Jennie Bond has been the BBC’s Royal Correspondent for twelve years. She has also been a regular news presenter on BBC television. Her book ‘Reporting Royalty’ details her exploits as Royal Correspondent, focusing on the extraordinary and often hilarious experiences of life on the road.  She began her career in journalism after graduating from Warwick University in 1972. She worked on local papers as a reporter for five years before joining BBC Radio News where she gained a thorough grounding in radio news, editing the main bulletins.  She began her career as a presenter, anchoring, among other programmes, the top current affairs show in the UK, Today on Radio 4.

Well-known expert on BBC's ever popular 'Antiques Roadshow'.  She joined the programme's team of experts in 1985, following a very successful career with Sotheby's.  It was at Sotheby's that she was invited to create a department entirely devoted to dolls and automata.  Bunny's passion for animals prompted her to stage the first ever auction of Teddy Bears in 1982, almost every year since then she has seen a new world record price for a Teddy Bear.  As well as speaking on a variety of topics relating to antiques, including a behind-the-scenes look at her experiences on and off the Antiques Roadshow, she regularly contributes to magazines.
